Inhale (2010)

What does the R rated dramedy Waiting to Exhale (1995) have in common with the romance Breathe In (2013), the French film Breathe (2014), and the Netflix miniseries Keep Breathing (2022)? Sadly, none of these productions offer much skin. Fortunately, the same cannot be said for the American thriller Inhale (2010) — not to be confused with the Nigerian musical Inhale (2010). Even though used sparingly, this flick offers some flesh that will make you breathless! Under the direction of Baltasar Kormákur, Dermot Mulrooney and Diane Kruger play Paul and Diane Stanton, respectively. They have looks, money, and a daughter (Mia Stallard) with a degenerative lung condition. As such, the couple seeks help from Dr. Rubin (Rosanna Arquette) and James Harrison (Sam Shepard). But eventually they work with a Dr. Navarro (Vincent Perez) who also goes by the name of Dr. Martinez. Needless to say, he’s a duplicitous dude and winds up screwing the two (in a bad way). In other words, the Stantons venture into the Mexican criminal underworld to find an illegal “donor” for their daughter’s lung transplant. Speaking of lungs, Ms. Kruger has a pair that’ll take your breath away. This is especially true when she shows her bare breasts while having sex with Paul just six minutes into the movie! When Diane’s daughter cries for help, the mamtastic mom leaps out of bed to attend to her. This selfless act means we get to see the blonde beauty’s full frontal nudity! Perhaps this pic should be called Skinhale.
