Incubus

Incubus (1965)

Brief Nudity

Review

Incubus (1966) is a horror flick that takes place on a strange island that is inhabited by demons and spirits. There, William Shatner battles the forces of evil. Is that evil symbolized by the fact the movie is spoken in Esperanto, an invented language of the late 19th century? It’s certainly unique, and the only movie filmed in this idealistic tongue. The movie was never released in the United States in it’s original form, but was reedited to add more nudity for a 1968 version. They should do that with all movies. In this, we have Ann Atmar stripped topless for a Black Mass. But to add to the tragedy of this odd film, she committed suicide shortly after completion of the film.
