Review

An amnesia sufferer discovers that what she doesn’t know can’t hurt her in the German psychological thriller Im Innern des Bernsteins (1995). Silvia Berger (Antje Schmidt) is a beautiful young woman with a mysterious past. Unable to access her recent memories, Berger begins following obscure leads and soon finds herself in the thick of a dangerous game involving mobsters and other shady characters. Despite this sobering discovery, Silvia still finds time to kick back with passionate sex and post-coital champagne. Cheers!
