I Know What You Did Last Summer (2021)

Since we know, we still know, and we'll always know what was done last summer, 2021 was finally the time to reboot the horror franchise with the Amazon Prime Original Series I Know What You Did Last Summer. Like the 1997 film of the same name, the series is based on Lois Duncan's 1973 novel wherein a group of popular teens decide to cover up an accidental murder in which they were all complicit. Setting the series in the present of 2021 allows this series to go where the franchise has never gone before, to the age of social media, a realm in which teens can't help but get caught up in the exposing and divulging of deep, dark secrets. Lennon (Madison Iseman) is back home in Hawaii for the summer after a stressful first year at college and things are only getting more stressful when she discovers a severed goat head in her closet along with the show's eponymous phrase scrawled on her mirror in blood. She must now reconnect with her friends Margot (Brianne Tju), Riley (Ashley Moore), Dylan (Ezekiel Goodman), and Johnny (Sebastian Amoruso) to discover not only who knows about their previous summer's crime and cover-up, but how they found out about it. Jumanji's Madison Iseman actually plays dual roles in the show as both the hetero Lennon and her lesbian twin sister Allison, who has a tantalizing topless lesbian love scene with Brianne Tju to open the show's fourth episode, marking the nude debut of both beauties! Throw in an additional topless scene from Danielle Delaunay later in that same episode and plenty of supporting sexiness from Ashley Moore and Fiona Rene and this horror series is turning out to be an affair to reMAMber!
