Austin detective Danny Rourke (Ben Affleck) finds a clue in the ongoing search for his kidnapped daughter Minnie at the scene of a weirdly chaotic bank heist, in the form of a Polaroid of her with the words “Find Lev Dellrayne” on it. This leads him to join forces with a psychic named Diana Cruz (Alice Braga) who explains that Dellrayne (William Fichtner) is the villainous leader of a group of “hypnotics” - people with mind-controlling abilities - that seemingly have a connection to Rourke’s daughter’s disappearance. One of Dellrayne’s devious tactics during his reign of terror is to hypnotize beguiling beauty Bonnie Discepolo into taking off her top in the middle of traffic! If only we had that kind of power!
