Review
The glamorous life of a German icon is laid bare in the biopic Hilde (2009). Heike Makatsch stars as Hildegard Knef, who emerged from the rubble of WWII to become one of Germany's brightest stars. The multi-talented Ms. Knef was a celebrated singer and author as well as an actress, and Hilde follows her career from post-war Berlin (where she starred in the first German movie after WWII, 1946's Prisoners Among Us) to Hollywood and back again. Speaking of stars, yours will be shooting after you get a good look at Heike's exceptional T&A the morning after an illicit encounter.
