Two low-life, macho men (Gerard Depardieu and Patrick Dewaere), travel the countryside of France in search of the good life in Going Places (1974). Bitter and brawny, depending mostly on their fancy and fists to get by, these aimless thugs have no limits to their lustiness. Doused in debauchery they steal cars, offer money to a nursing mom for a taste of her teat, double team a frigid virgin, and use one another as lovers when no other skin is within arm's reach. Soon a monkey wrench is thrown into their mayhem when the marvy-mammed Marie-Ange (Miou-Miou), a jaded, juiced-up loosey goosey recently released from prison, turns their gruesome twosome into a gleeful threesome. Going everywhere, doing everything, they all end up nowhere in the end.
