Girlfriends (1978)

Girlfriends (1978) is a wonderful indie comedy from the late 1970s that comes to us from female director Claudia Weill who also co-wrote this film. She's multitalented! Well, she brings us this story of a female photographer and her best friend. The two of them live together in New York and even though our photographer leading lady is struggling in her career, she loves knowing that her very best friend is at home waiting for her and providing support for her in dark times. But there's a twist! Of course, there is. It's a movie! Her bestie decides to get married which means that she will be moving out. This leaves the photographer by herself unexpectedly and trying to adapt to truly single living even though it was not her first choice. Melanie Mayron plays Susan Weinblatt who shows us so much of her naked body. From running around naked in her living room - chased by nude Christopher Guest - and showing her bush, breasts, and buns to lowering her clothes in order to use the bathroom. She's not the only one! Amy Wright plays Ceil and lets us steal a couple of looks at her breasts. Finally, Anita Skinner gives us a look at her sexy skinny body when she wears a see-through nightgown. We also get to see her naked and on all fours in a photo that shows up in a slideshow that plays on the wall. Her arms cover her breasts, but this is such a sexy snippet that it will leave you wanting her to be your Girlfriend.
