Geostorm (2017)

Kind of like a technological version of The Day After Tomorrow, Geostorm follows what may be the end of the world at the hands of natural disasters, only this time caused by a natural disaster defense system. The irony! The group of satellites, called the Dutch Boy, are hijacked by someone Evil with a capital E to wreak havoc on the world. The scientist who invented it (Gerard Butler) and his younger brother (Jim Sturgess) are tasked with saving the world. Abbie Cornish is a Secret Service agent who shows cleavage while lying in the bed with the former brother, so he can't be too busy. Corrina Roshea is an unfortunate victim of the weather hack, and she runs across Rio to avoid being flash frozen like the rest of her comrades. Yikes. Luckily, from the comforts of your home, you'll be experiencing a Geostorm in your pants!
