Honor Killing (2018)

Writer, director, and star Mercedes gets brutalized before getting downright brutal herself in the modern day exploitation flick Honor Killing (2018)! This flick finds the multi-hyphenate beauty starring as The Woman With No Name, who finds herself attacked by a close family friend. When she turns to her father for help in avenging this heinous act, her father instead attempts to murder her himself, putting a bullet in her head. The bullet doesn't kill her, however, and now she's fed up with the so-called vicious cycle that is an "honor killing," and seeks vengeance not only against her attacker and her father, but pretty much anyone who has ever participated in the disgusting practice. The film has its roots in the female vengeance exploitation flicks that dominated the grindhouse circuit throughout the 1970s, but with a much more timely 21st century bent that puts the film's social commentary in a more modern framework. Writer, director, and star Mercedes—aka Mercedes the Muse—definitely knows the rhythms of the exploitation movement and nicely brings them into the modern era with a story that's sure to shock, appall, disturb, and even titillate audiences in equal measure! Mercedes goes bottomless for the assault scene, which is every bit as horrifying as you might expect, sparing no one's feelings in the bargain! At least we get to see her bush and buns! Speaking of which, we also get a peek at butt and bush from Erin Shimokawa as she plays a stripper shaking her stuff on stage for some rowdy patrons!
