Gavagai (2026)

Writer-director Ulrich Köhler’s international drama involves a European movie adaptation of the Greek tragedy Medea as it’s being filmed in Senegal. Helmed by the heavy-handed Caroline Lescot (Natalie Richard), the shoot is plagued by problems, one of which is that lead actress Maja (Maren Eggert), who is married, is having an affair with her on-screen husband, Senegalese actor Nourou (Jean-Christophe Folly). There’s a lot of disparity in the treatment of both actors, a fact that becomes even more evident when we skip ahead in time and see the former lovers awkwardly reunited at the film’s premiere in Europe. Thankfully, Maren doesn’t leave us hanging during the co-stars’ secret sexual tryst. We not only see her topless while they're doing the deed, but we also get some bonus looks at her boobage the morning after. We’re so glad she Gavagai a break and just went for it!
