Frankenstein Reborn (2005)

In yet another modern retelling of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the low budget horror flick Frankenstein Reborn (2005) tells the story of the equally brilliant and demented neurosurgeon Victor Franks (Rhett Giles), a murder suspect undergoing psychiatric evaluation at a mental hospital. Told in a series of flashbacks to Dr. Robert Walton, the asylum’s psychiatrist, Victor recounts the tale of his privately funded work into using nanotechnology to resurrect the dead. Like all good scientists, Victor tests his life altering nanoprobes on himself and unbeknownst to the creative doctor, his secret serum causes hallucinations and violent outbursts. Instead of helping his patients, Vic begins killing them in a murderous rage. With the nanoprobes flowing through his body, no one is safe from the killing creature!
