The daughter of an international oil-refinery construction supervisor, fiery-tressed Frances Fisher was born in Britain but raised around the world, as her daddy's job kept her family on the move. A lengthy New York stage career ultimately led to her first substantial bite at stardom in the mid '70s when she appeared regularly on the boob-tube sudsers The Edge of Night and The Guiding Light. A series of low-key film projects followed, but it wasn't until 1992 that Frances made her first memorable mark when she portrayed headstrong madam Strawberry Alice in Clint Eastwood's award-winning western Unforgiven (1992). Her long-term relationship with Clint, which yielded daughter Francesca Eastwood in 1993, didn't hurt the ole Q rating either! Interestingly, it wasn't as Unforgiven's bordello boss that Frances allowed her flesh flaps to get out for a spell and enjoy some topless Fishering, nor was it the cinematic smash Titanic (1997). Her skin scene was primarily saved for the erotic art-house entry Female Perversions (1997), which found Frances ridding herself of a bothersome blue blouse and taking a topless turn. Hmmmm . . . is it just a coincidence that the skintastic sequence transpired AFTER she and Eastwood parted ways?
