If not for Chloe Webb there might not be Courtney Love. The Hole singer has since transcended her baby-doll groupie roots to become a star herself. Still, the physical and behavioral similarities shared by the up-and-coming Courtney and the chaotic, doomed, destructive character Chloe Webb presented as Sid Vicious's girlfriend in Sid and Nancy (1986) are creepy, to say the least. In fact, Webb's channeling of a rock 'n' roll casualty is plenty creepy even without the Love connection. At times, if not for the fact that Chloe is lolling in bed with her milky dugs dangling, it would be almost painful to watch. Webb takes the pain away again in The Belly of an Architect (1987) and Tales of the City (1994). Or was that last one Tales of Flashed Titty?
