If you crossed the Final Destination series with Chinese mythology, you'd get Fortune Cookie. When a group of friends goes for dinner at a Chinese restaurant, they unwittingly summon an ancient curse reflected in their fortune cookies, all indicating certain death for each in different ways. As they start getting picked off, they race to try to find a way to stop the curse, which doesn't look very promising.
