False Positive (2021)

They say that because of the heightened emotional state in which both genres live, it's easy to make the transition from comedy to horror. It obviously worked well for Jordan Peele, and now Broad City's Ilana Glazer is making the leap, starring and co-writing the film False Positive (2021), writing the script with director John Lee, himself coming to horror from the absurdist comedy world of Wonder Showzen and The Heart, She Holler. Glazer stars as Lucy, a woman who has seemingly exhausted her opportunities to get pregnant along with her plastic surgeon husband Adrian (Justin Theroux). Just when all hope seems lost, Adrian's old professor and mentor Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan) turns back up in their lives to offer them a chance to try his radical new method of in vitro fertilization. The procedure is a success, but Lucy realizes almost immediately that something is wrong with her pregnancy... there's something sinister growing inside of her and now she must determine if she's simply being paranoid or if she's the next Rosemary, carrying to term a potential antichrist birthed of her husband's ambitions. It's likely no small coincidence that Theroux's character is named Adrian, the actual name of the titular child from Rosemary's Baby (1968), just adding fuel to that conspiracy fire! The real action we care about involves funny lady Ilana Glazer making her nude debut in the flick! We get to see her big natural breasts bouncing about while she gets banged by Theroux in bed 42 minutes in, along with an overhead look at her breasts when she's in the tub just past the one hour mark!
