Extraordinary (2023)

In a world where everyone acquires a superpower once they hit eighteen, the insecure and slightly self-obsessed Jen (Máiréad Tyers) is a 25-year-old Irish Londoner who’s special gift has yet to manifest. Surrounded by her family and friends, including her mom (Siobhan McSweeney) who can control electronics, her bestie Carrie (Sofia Oxenham), who can channel the dead, Carrie’s boyfriend Kash (Bilal Hansa), who can reverse time, amidst a sea of unusual supers (like a guy that can make people orgasm by just touching them), Jen decides to start saving money in order enroll in a clinic that can supposedly unleash her inner ability. At one point, she’s convinced that her superpowered tits can turn animals into people, but she just happens to have been taking topless selfies when her cat turns back into his original human form. Hopefully we’ll actually see more of Máiréad’s kitty and caboodle in Season 2!
