Named after a Cockney rhyming term that’s slang for “having no money,” this British comedy series follows the lives of best friends Vinnie (Joseph Gilgun, also one of the show's writers) and Dylan (Damien Molony) and their friends; a group of ne’er-do-wells living in the fictional town of Hawley who constantly commit crimes and come up with disastrous get-rich-quick schemes. Dylan ends up moving in with his girlfriend Erin (Michelle Keegan), a single mom and former wild child now trying to do right by her son from a one-night-stand... with Vinnie. One of the mates, Ash (Aaron Heffernan), has told his friends he’s gay but has yet to come out to his family. In an episode from the show's sixth season, he ends up infiltrating a nudist colony to save their friend Gideon (Ed Gaughan) from what the gang suspects is a cult. That’s where we meet members - or should we say mam-bers - Julia Frost and Judith Alexander and their delightful T’n’A. If anyone puts the “ass” in Brassic, it’s them!
