Endstation Harembar (1992)

Set in Berlin in 1932, Endstation Harembar (1992) follows the police investigation of the murder of a bar owner, Adele (Renate Küster). The perceptive detectives quickly narrow down their suspects to sexy dancer Marie (Susanne Lüning) and her friend Mingo (Frank Schröder). As the couple adamantly maintains their innocence, the police eventually turn their attention towards Adele’s ex, Kurt (Silvan-Piere Leirich), an unemployed loser with a criminal past. But when Kurt’s twin sis (Martina Gedeck), the wife of a lawyer, provides him with a solid alibi the cop’s trail grows cold. Through the investigation process, the three suspects soon find out that their fates are linked more closely than they previously thought.
