A young German woman unexpectedly inherits a farm in rural Namibia in the sweeping and colorful made-for-TV mini-series Endloser Horizont (1) (2005). Thirty-year-old Lilly Meier (Franziska Petri) has never met her father until he summons her to his dying bedside. After his death, his will reveals that he wishes Lilly to inherit his bankrupt farm and make a go of it by living off the land. So begins Thomas Jauch’s engaging series, which follows Lilly’s trials and tribulations against the stunning backdrop of southern Africa.
