To fans of softcore cinema, the name Emmanuelle instantly conjures up visions of pouty-lipped, gorgeous Gallic gals laying themselves bare on camera. To apply such a mental image to buttery French pastry Emmanuelle Escourrou would not be off the mark at all, as one cursory glance at her wild mane of dusky hair and her exotic, sensual face brings to mind the titular heroine of the famed softcore series.
