Ego Nwodim is following in the high-heeled footsteps of former Not-Ready-for-Primetime knockouts Kristen Wiig, Sarah Silverman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jan Hooks, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. In 2018, the ebony-skinned actress and comedian joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. But not before the brainy beauty received a biology degree from University of Southern California. Yet after graduation, the unpredictable Ego opted to pursue comedy instead. She joined the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where she performed her one-woman show Great Black Women...and Then There’s Me. The busy babe also made a string of short films (Getting Help, You’re Kind of Weird But I Like It, The Waitress) to prove size doesn’t matter. As such, she found success on the small screen. In addition to recurring roles on K.C. Undercover (2016-2017) and Law & Order True Crime (2017), the hardworking hottie sizzled via a guest spot on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls (2017).
