Der Bulle & das Mädchen (1984)

A resourceful cop finds himself outwitted at nearly every turn by a street-smart girl punk in the German crime drama Der Bulle & das Mädchen (1984). While breaking up a scuffle between juvenile delinquents, “Der Bulle” (Jürgen Prochnow) has his gun stolen from him by one of the wayward teens. Chasing the girl to the border of Holland, he finds himself thrown into a cat-and-mouse game in which squealing-tire car chases give way to erotic seductions. Annette Von Klier stars as the object of the cop’s wrath and affection. One look at her post-coital smoke shows why she’s tough for the poor sap to stay mad at.
