A 1983 graduate of John Glenn High School in Westland, Michigan, thanks to her out of this world body Denise Bixler started her showbiz career by dancing on local television shows in the Detroit area, while still in school. Within four years, she managed to capitalize on that success by landing a role in Sam Raimi's horror-comedy sequel Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn (1987). Denise played Bruce Campbell's S-Mart coworker turned girlfriend Linda, who fans of the film series may recall was played by Betsy Baker in The Evil Dead (1981). Miss Baker was cooking up a bun in the oven when they were filming the sequel, so Denise took over the role. There's an old bible quote about lopping your hand off if it causes you to sin, so you might have to reach for the chainsaw seeing the material Denise gave us to work with in that one. Check out her sexy dancing while Ash tickles the ivories, and Denise shows off her pretty blue undies! And it looks like it's a bit chilly in the cabin, if you catch our drift. Groovy. She then lived the American dream by marrying Police Academy (1984) star Steve Guttenberg in 1988, but acted very infrequently during that relationship. Denise only appeared in an episode of Booker and the movie Crisis in the Kremlin (1992) after her work in the cult classic horror film, and when her marriage to The Gute ended in 1992, so too did her acting career. Denise moved to Switzerland, but did get a brief thank you from the producers in the credits of an episode of Ash vs Evil Dead. With the Evil Dead movies constantly getting rebooted, maybe Denise will reprise her role, and squeeze back into the Michigan State shirt and those blue panties. Like the Goot, whenever we see Denise we get weak in da knees.
