Death Valley (1982) is a sadly forgotten suspense thriller classic that is most famous for featuring a pre-Christmas Story Peter Billingsley. When a newly divorced mother (Catherine Hicks) sets out on a cross-country road trip with her son (Billingsley) and her new man (Paul LeMat), their good times end quickly when they find themselves the target of a mysterious serial killer (Stephen McHattie). Can the ornery ol' sheriff (Wilford Brimley) stop talking about diabeetus long enough to save them?
