Biography

If you know your history, you know the French occupied Vietnam before we Americans got entrenched in the jungles over there. Too bad we didn’t get over there earlier because then we might have seen Dany Carrel, who was born in what is now called Da Nang, Vietnam. Dany is an early nudist, making her first exposure in Maternité clandestine (1953), where she flashed some boob. That was followed by La Cage aux souris (1955) and Pot-Bouille (1957), her breast exposure yet. For a change of pace, Dany took it off in a kinky horror movie called Il Mulino delle donne di pietra (1960), the crime drama Le Chien fou (1966), and the les-be-friendly La Prisonnière (1968).
