Cold War (2018)

The Cold War marked a period of tension between the United States and the Soviet Union from 1947 to 1991. Although the conflict didn’t include actual military action, it was felt in other ways over Eastern Europe. Cold War (2018) shows how Poland was affected during the 1950s. The film also shows how Mr. Skin’s pole was affected by the film’s leading lady! Also known as Zimna wojna, this post-WWII pic takes place when Poland was part of the Communist Bloc. Singer Zuzanna “Zula” Lichoń (Joanna Kulig) and theater director Wiktor Warski (Tomasz Kot) are told to create a pro-Communist traveling show. This means they’ll be spreading propaganda, yet it also means they’ll be touring the Eastern Bloc where they can escape to freedom in the West. At Skin Central, we love the idea of liberation — especially when Ms. Kulig liberates her chest from her brassiere. Thanks to Skin Vision, we can peek at her left breast when she’s having sex in a dimly-lit scene. In another scene, the voluptuous stunner’s ample cleavage can be seen in lush black-and-white skinematography via her low-cut and skintight dress. No wonder the movie was both a critical and box office success! In addition to scoring three Oscar nominations, the foreign flick picked up the People’s Choice Award, Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenwriter for Paweł Pawlikowski, Best Editing for Jarosław Kamiński, and Best Actress for Kulig at the European Film Awards. Obviously, they all deserve the accolades for making the Cold War hot!
