Cocoon (1985)

Cocoon (1985) centers around the characters of Don Ameche, Wilford Brimley, and Hume Cronyn, three ageing seniors who get their only kicks by climbing the fence and risking broken hips for delightful dips in an unguarded pool next door to their old folk’s home. After an unusual session of swimming, they start feeling frisky, experiencing large amounts of peter-pumping energy and skinthusiasm for life and living. What these poor pappies don't know is that their newfound fountain of youth is being used by four alluring aliens posing as humans, who use the spot to keep their pod people hydrated and healthy until they can return to their home planet. When the old fogies discover the truth, the extraterrestrials enlist their help in returning the cocoons to their galaxy. And in exchange the grandpas will receive perkiness, possible promiscuity, and everlasting youth. Theses golden oldies must decide between taking a chance at being swingers on the spaceship and remaining wrapped up in their old body pods, withering away more each day. Now that these sprightly grandpas have gotten a glimpse outside the confinement of their own cocoons, like butterflies they are free to let their freak flags fly away toward a new and sexciting sexistence.
