Class Act

Broad British sitcom about one of those stunningly spoiled rich women who promptly finds herself spouseless and poverty stricken, only to find friendship among an eclectic group of goofball lowlifes. Alternately nasty and sweet, this series never really found an effective tone and viewers quickly tuned out. Joanna Lumley was suitably crude and boisterous, though she’d ultimately go on to much more successful projects.
