The early 90s were a time when the Hong Kong action scene really exploded, but not all films made there during that time were action spectaculars. Take China Dolls (1992) for example. This crime caper has a bit of action, but is mostly a comedy with some drama thrown in for good measure. It does have the one thing most of those Hong Kong actioners don't... Nudity!
