Candy (2006)

Heath Ledger is a poet in love with art student Abbie Cornish in a film that became much harder to watch after the death of its lead, Candy (2006). Based on the book "Candy: A Novel of Love and Addiction" the Aussie drama follows the hippy dippy poet Dan (Heath Ledger) as he meets and falls in love with the art student Candy (Abbie Cornish). The problem is, the poet loves heroin nearly as much as he loves poems, and soon enough he's got Candy hooked on horse just like him. Being hooked on drugs is bad enough when you've got great jobs, but since these two picked some poverty ridden career paths, soon enough they're stealing, Candy's prostituting herself, and together the two are engaging in all sorts of other criminal activities to fund their addiction. Eventually they'll move out to the sticks hoping to stay clean and turn around their lives. Can their love keep them together in the face of such a struggle or will drugs doom their relationship? There are so many sweet looks at Candy, though there mostly artistic and not very porn-ish. Still, the gorgeous blonde Abbie Cornish looks truly scrumptious lying on a bed nude with her dude, letting us see her juicy jugs as she rolls over. Great cans, Candy! We'll get a look at her ass when she overdoses in the bathtub, and another look at her rack when Heath takes her top off before some amazing sex. No wonder the poet was addicted to putting his dick in her! How can it be a cautionary tale seeing Dan get that piece of tail? It's tough to watch Ledger struggle with addiction knowing how his life ends, but you can't hold that against this drug drama. At the very least with those shots of Abbie, Candy will make you randy!
