Since 1982, the people of the UK have been watching the everyday lives and loves of the residents of a Liverpool street in the north of England - Brookside. Your typical British soap, much the same as Eastenders, but with accents that are far stranger and harder to understand, this show is still going more than twenty years after it first began. The show has at various times featured skinsters Katrin Cartlidge, Jennifer Ellison, Lisa Faulkner, Anna Friel, and Diane Keen – which is a good selection of flesh, considering it’s a family show.
