Ripper Street (2013-2014)

Ripper Street is a series that airs on the BBC in the UK, and follows the immediate aftermath of the Jack the Ripper murders in 1889. The series is centered around the H Division, a police precinct in the Whitechapel section of London, and their attempts to track the killer down and bring him to justice, even as the story is gaining notoriety worldwide.  While the series is known for its unflinching brutality, it's pretty light on skin for a show about a man who killed a ton of prostitutes. One episode is particularly strange, and features Elva Trill as one of the killer's victims, giving us a good look at her backside as she lays dead on an examiner's table. She also has a tail, which is pretty odd, but when she's flipped over, we get the slightest hint of her left hoot! We think this show would be a lot better if it were called Stripper Street!
