Blow (2001) is a biopic about George Jung, who supposedly is the man responsible for creating a market for cocaine in the United States back in the 1970s. How hard could that have been, really? He’s played by Johnny Depp, an his father is played by Ray Liotta. These two thespians eat up the scenery as if they’re on cocaine, not that there’s anything wrong with that (intense acting, that is, not illegal drug use). The wages of sin might be death, but have a successful drug smuggling cartel and you’ll lose babes like Franka Potente, but get to snuggle up with hotter pieces like Penelope Cruz. That’s a lesson for you all. Those gals keep their clothes on, though they’re sexy clothing, but there’s enough incidental nudity in the background to keep you high.
