While walking through the sprawling mountain landscape of small-town Montana, a young woman (Betsey Browne) tries to start up a conversation with the man (Morgan Kantz), John, accompanying her with his dog, Bits. It’s pretty awkward, he seems less than enthusiastic when she asks “Is this a date?” after he offers her some of the chicken he’s cooked up at home. He’s ravenous, but seemingly not for her until they randomly start making out in the middle of dinner. They move to the couch to have sex, but when she criticizes his taste in lovemaking music, he angrily kicks her out - thankfully not before we get to see Betsey’s beautiful boobs and bush. She heads to the local watering hole to drown her sorrows, and all her gal pals there start talking about how weird this new guy John is. She later spots him with another lady, and sees him dropping the dead body of Bits in a dumpster. After confronting him at a bar, one of her friends delivers the news that John’s a serial killer and she narrowly avoided being his next victim. Then Uncle Rico himself, John Gries, shows up to chat and our gal makes it obvious she still thinks she missed out on a good thing…with a serial killer. The short film closes with the two having sex in his car while she imagines the topless bodies of all of John’s victims. It’s a crazy take to feel sad about being rejected by a murdering psychopath, but at least we get to see Betsey’s bits!
