Betsy Baker was only eight years old when she landed on stage as a tap dancer and singer. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in theater education, she performed in disparate productions across the U.S. Eventually she hooked up with Sam Raimi and became the queen of all scream queens in his horror classic The Evil Dead (1981). She notes that fans at conventions still cringe when they hear her eerie laugh. Mr. Skin does the opposite of cringe when he pauses the movie on that miraculous moment when Betsy takes off her top and flashes her boobs. That ain’t evil; it enlivens. Despite being a staple of conventions, Betsy's career has been anything but conventional. After The Evil Dead, Betsy didn't act on screen until 1990 via the TV movie Appearances. Then she took another hiatus: 16 years! Reportedly, this was to focus on motherhood. This hot mama returned to film in 2006's The Cat's Meow and has been on fire ever since. Her recent credits include the shows Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Dangerous Women, ER, Southland, The Middle, True Blood, New Girl, Days of Our Lives, American Horror Story, This Is Us, The Orville, and The Conners and the movies Witches' Night (2007), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), 5 Hour Friends (2013), Lake Eerie (2016), Ash vs. Evil Dead: Aunt Linda's Bake Off (2017), and Secret Agent Dingledorf and His Trusty Dog Splat (2021). Hopefully Betsy's hot streak will burn off her clothes!
