Barbara Lerici (rhymes with “They’re Peachy”) launched her career in one of the many “Titanic” clones of the late-1990s, La Femme de chamber du Titanic. (Of course, this particular film is about a billion times better than that overblown piece of dookie that James Cameron put out… Calling it a “clone” does it no justice.) Since then, Barbara has risen high in the ranks of European character actresses, appearing in small supporting roles in movies like Il Prezzo, Il Partigiano Johnny and Da zero a dieci. Fortunately, appearing in the background all the time hasn’t kept Babs from baring her bodacious breasticles on the big screen. For a better look at what Signorina Lerici’s been hiding under all those itchy clothes, have a gander at her appearance in 2001’s Sleepless opposite consummate gentleman actor Max von Sydow. Barbara bares it all in the flick, including her neatly manicured muff, although the mood is ruined shortly thereafter with a bit of the old ultra-violence. Nevertheless, it’s worth a peek, a rewind and play or two.
