Nothing is better than an Italian actress who likes to share her hot toppings. Such a treat is Chiara Conti, who bared her breasts in the Italian/Spanish television movie Do You Like Hitchcock? (2005), playing the part of Federica Lalli, a damsel in distress. But several years before that, the Florence native made her debut as a Fairyworld nymph in in the Hollywood adaption of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1999) starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kevin Kline, a part Chiara nabbed thanks to the movie filming in her native Italy. The blonde bombshell, who sometimes pops up as a brunette, can also be found on the silver screen in Picasso Face (2000) as Stefania; Gasoline (2001) playing Pippi; in the role of Diana Sereni in My Mother’s Smile(2002); as Fulvia in Promessa d’amore (2004), or Promise of Love, for which she won a Best Actress award from the Busto Arsizio Film Festival; as the character Chiara in Nothing Is as it Seems (2007); L’innocenza di Clara (2012), aka Clara’s Innocence. And somewhere in there, in 2004, she got a little famous for being the main squeeze of actor Gerard Butler, a hook-up that didn’t last beyond the year. On TV, she’s held regular starring roles in multiple series, including as Cosimo Calangida in Butta la luna, or Heading to the Sea, from 2006-2007; Stefania Fioravanti in Il capitano, or The Captain in 2007; Simona Merenda in the series named 1993 in 2017; and Luigi Alfredo Ricciardi’s mom in Il Commissario Ricciardi in 2021. US audiences have really only had one other chance to see the star on their own turf, as Anna in the Italy, Poland, US collab mini-series Pope John Paul II (2005) with Ben Gazzara.
