Review
Asso (1981) isn’t exactly what you’d expect. For one, Asso is the name of a master poker player. No, not that kind of “poke her”. He’s a card player and quite the card in this comedy, until a bad loser kills our hero. The movie isn’t over, though, as Asso returns to earth as a ghost to find his wife, Edwige Fenech, a husband. With a widow as wanton as Edwige, his otherworldly duty shouldn’t take long. Thankfully, the filmmakers keep things going long enough so that Edwige can strip and show off her spicy meatballs.
