Angelfist (1993)

Following in the high-heeled footsteps of Jeanne Bell, whose kick-ass moves are showcased in TNT Jackson (1974), is the action thriller Angelfist (1993). Not to be confused with the chiller diller Angel Heart (1987), Cirio H. Santiago’s R rated flick features Catya “Cat” Sassoon, the eldest daughter of Vidal Sassoon who grew to be a model, actress and, as seen in this pic, a marital artist! As an LAPD officer named Katara “Kat” Lang, Cat travels to the Philippines to track down the killer of her sister Kristie Lang (Sibel Birzag) by going undercover as a kickboxer. This is great news for viewers since it means we get to see a lot of hard-bodied females beating the living daylights out of one another. And even better, showering together! In fact, Cat flashes her rack, rump and muff while scrubbing up with a bunch of naked ladies, including luscious Lorda (Melissa Anne Moore) who also bares her boobs, bush and butt. All it takes is one glance at their wet breasts and chances are you’ll be the one who is reaching for a towel! Later, Ms. Moore shows more of her bare chest when she’s a damsel in distress. But not before a be-thonged Cat takes a topless beating by a couple of ninja-types who make the mistake of messing with her finery. Long story short, this movie packs a punch below the belt! Alas, after the film’s release, Catya passed away from a suspected drug overdose. Luckily, Angelfist preserves the angel’s mamories!
