The daughter of Caribbean-born parents, Andrea originally hails from Ontario, Canada but has since relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her performance career. An actress and singer, she made her screen debut at a young age, first appearing in TV movies in the late 90s. Andrea is most well known for playing Hazel Aden on the popular Canadian high school series Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2002 to 2006. After touring Canada in a production of the musical Hairspray in 2011, she started her own entertainment company Jungle Wild Productions and has created and starred in two web series, Black Actress and Beyond Complicated. She’s released two albums, Float Away in 2005 and 54321 in 2010, and in 2023 she finally released her rack and rump, showing T’n’A in the 2023 Hulu comedy film Three Ways, playing a woman who decides to have a threesome with her new beau and a polyamorous woman played by Brittany S.
