American Romance (2016)

American Romance (2016) is anything but! This thriller gets its name from a serial killer's sick fascination with killing couples and arranging their corpses in a series of dementedly romantic tableau. The film brings a number of people onto a collision course with destiny, as newlyweds Krissy (Daveigh Chase) and Jeff (Nolan Gerard Funk) find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down and their only hope is disillusioned truck driver Emery (John Savage). Initial suspicions about one another soon prove deadly when it's obvious that someone is out to kill this happy couple, and they don't know who to trust. Although we do get some sexy looks at Daveigh Chase in her underwear, the only nudity comes in one of the film's more disturbing scenes! Adult film star Jelena Jensen appears briefly as a topless woman who has been killed and arranged in a tableau with some other people. Talk about a bloody good time!
