The taught suspense action thriller Ambushed (2013) is set in the seamy underbelly of Los Angeles, California. DEA agent Maxwell (Dolph Lundgren) is hot on the trail of a drug kingpin (Vinnie Jones), and his partner Beverly (Carly Pope) agrees to go undercover to infiltrate his gang. Unfortunately, she gets in farther than she ever bargained for and now Maxwell must risk it all to save her life.
