Always Shine (2016) is a thriller directed by Sophia Takal and starring Mackenzie Davis, Caitlin Fitzgerald, and Lawrence Michael Levine. The film won the Special Jury Prize for Narrative Feature at the Independent Film Festival of Boston in 2016. Always Shine follows two girlfriends who decide to take a weekend trip together to reconnect after years of tension and competition has driven them apart.
