Review

An inflatable woman comes to life, only to experience all the ups and downs of human emotion in Air Doll (2009). Based on a Japanese Manga, Cloud Atlas (2012) star Du-na Bae stars as Nozomi, the plastic companion of the lonely, middle aged waiter who's a bit of a loser, Hideo (Itao Itsuji). One day while Hideo is out at work, Nozomi inexplicably awakens and finds herself transformed into a flesh-and-blood human being. Innocent as a child, Nozomi wanders out into the street, where she sees, and is instantly infatuated with, video store clerk Junichi (Arata). She takes a job at the video store to get near him, then looks to Hideo for help with life only for him to tell her he preferred when she was plastic and couldn't say no to his advances. She flees to the arms of Junichi, only for her to realize that while she bleeds air when cut and can simply be blown up again, humans don't have those kinds of regenerative abilities. A melancholy meditation on loneliness and the ephemeral nature of life, Air Doll still manages to pack in loads of T&A from sexy, wide-eyed Du-na. Usually rocking her French maid outfit since she doesn't realize she's just a sex toy for freaky fetishists, we'll see Nozomi strip down a bunch of different times. From showing all three B's as she examines a window while naked, and pumping herself up with air, to letting her new boyfriend touch her in all the right places, her pair might be full of air but that body is still tremendous! Our bae Du-na was constantly willing to bare it all in Air Doll
