After (2019)

Depending on your imagination, you may have to take a shower after watching the romantic pic After (2019), not to be confused with the Spanish flick After (2009). Based on Anna Todd’s novel of the same name, this PG-13 movie is the first installment in the After film series. The action kicks off when Carol Young (Selma Blair) helps her daughter Tessa (Josephine Langford) move into her dorm room for her first year of college. Tessa soon meets her roommate Steph (Khadijha Red), Steph’s girlfriend Tristan (Pia Mia) and other students including Zed (Samuel Larsen), Molly (Inanna Sarkis) and Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). One night, the friends play a game of Truth or Dare which exposes Tessa’s virginity. When she’s dared to kiss Hardin, she refuses even though she’s attracted to him. Meanwhile, her other pal Landon (Shane Paul McGhie) says he will be Hardin’s stepbrother after their parents wed. But the bigger reveal is about a supposed deal wherein Hardin initially came on to Tessa per a challenge. Needless to say, there’s a lot of needless drama going on with these co-eds. But at least we get to see Ms. Red and Ms. Mia show off their bra-clad racks, skimpy skivvies, and lesbian tendencies when the dyke-namic dolls get busy on a twin bed! If that’s not titillating enough, Ms. Langford affords us a view of her sweet undies when she canoodles with her dude. All it takes is one glance at Tessa’s panties to know why Hardin is hard!
