A Love You (2015)

Manu (Antoine Gouy) has an epic night of drinking and fun at his best friend Fred’s (the film's writer/director Paul Lefevre) house party. While Fred, who apparently has a penchant for stupid, frat boy antics, spent the early morning after at a police station because he took a dump on his own car, Manu woke up to find the beautiful woman he spent the night with was gone, but wrote her address in Avignon on his arm. He finds Fred, and convinces him to embark on a road trip to Avignon to find the woman he is convinced is the love of his life. Disaster strikes their journey at every turn, from crashing their car into a lake to getting their clothes stolen by a car full of angry rugby players while hitchhiking. But it all works out because he eventually makes it to the address just in time to see his dream woman (Yasmine Lebarbier) getting boned on a couch by the same guy who had hit Fred with his car earlier and then given them a lift. Luckily his sadness doesn’t last because he realizes destiny had other plans all along. And we’re just happy to get brief glimpse of Yasmine’s yabbos! It’s a win-win all around really.
