Review

Four slackers must confront their worst fear--working for a living-- in the riotous Brazilian comedy A Casa da Mãe Joana (2008). Joey (Jose Wilker), PR (Paulo Betti), Pedro Antonio (Mountain) and Vava (Pedro Cardoso) are roommates who share only one goal- to spend as much time partying as they possibly can. So when they are faced with eviction, the gang decides to skip the whole "job" thing and rip off a jewelry store for the cash. What could go wrong? A lot, as it turns out, but one thing that goes spectacularly right is Fernanda de Freitas' turn as a topless trollop.
