7 ans de mariage (2003)

Marriage is usually the death knell to a couple’s sex life, and the French comedy 7 ans de mariage (2003) hilariously captures this sad phenomenon. After seven years of marriage, Alain (Didier Bourdon) and Audrey (Catherine Frot) rarely find time for some bedroom fun. With the demands of Audrey’s high-pressure job as a banker, mixed with her doting devotion to her daughter Camille (Gabrielle Lopes Benites), Alain is left to peruse pornography to fulfill his sexual needs. When Alain seeks the help of a therapist to resuscitate his wife’s sexual appetite, the good doc’s suggestions initially makes Audrey uneasy. But as Audrey’s sex drive kicks into overdrive, Alain might soon regret waking the beast inside of her. With all the talk of sex and porn, this French flick disappoints in the flesh department. But Yzabel Dzisky saves the day when she offers a quick peek at her right boobie as it pops out from behind her unbuttoned shirt. Thank you, Yzabel!
