2 x 4 (1998)

2 x 4 (1998) fits into the classic film genre of an immigrant trying to make his way in the New World, only here Jimmy Smallhorne gets a big horn when he’s around naked men! Smallhorne, who also directed and co-wrote the movie, plays an Irishman who moves to the Bronx and becomes a construction worker by day and a gay cruiser by night. Kimberly Topper plays his girlfriend, and she begins to suspect something’s queer when Smallhorne starts wearing feathered boas. This tale of awakening sexuality isn’t without its merits, though, specifically Kimberly, who flashes her Toppers when Smallhorne is getting it on with her. That’ll give audiences a much needed 2 x 4 in their pants.
